i haven’t thought much about resolutions for 2018. there are somethings i want to read but that’s it!

1- READING MORE MIDDLE-GRADE BOOKS 

that means finally getting to read the percy jackson books and other books as well. if you have any recs please feel free to share!

2- READING MORE CLASSICS 

i want to read pride and prejudice and jane eyer and some of shakespeare’s work. i did read a classic before and i didn’t enjoy it, but i’ll some other famous novels a try and maybe classics won’t be as horrifying as i think they are!

3- I’LL TRY AND VENTURE INTO OTHER GENRES, LIKE HISTORICAL FICTION AND SCI-FI 

again any good recs?

4- I’LL HOPEFULLY READ MORE BOOKS THAN LAST YEAR

I read 60 books last year and this year i want to read 70 hopefully i’ll do well considering that i’m on the edge of a reading slump!

  1. I used to have a GR reading challenge back in 2014 and almost completed 100 books but became busy half way through the year lmao. I’m starting again this year with 50 books because I’m already working. But, hmm.. maybe you should read The Covenant series by Jennifer Armentrout. It’s a fantasy-greek myth kind of genre. I hope you’ll love it like I did!

  2. As people have said, Percy Jackson books are a delight–I’m sure you’ll enjoy them! I read them about the same time that I read the Artemis Fowl series, and I really liked those as well. I’d recommend them. They don’t wrap up quite as nicely as Percy Jackson does, but they’re certainly still good. 🙂
