HII

book hauls are my favorite posts to write! honestly who doesn’t like getting new books?! specially when those books are sequels you need to have immediately!

i also bought my first funko pop!

1- STALKING JACK THE RIPPER

i’ve heard great things about this book. it was about time to read another book sets in historical london!!

2- EVERLESS

this is book was on my most anticipated releases of 2018. it sounds intriguing and mysterious! i heard it was like red queen but way better! i’m planning on reading very soon and hopefully it will be worth it.

3- THE CRUEL PRINCE

this book is so hyped up! i know it was on probably everyone’s list for new releases including mine and the cover is gorgeous! but hopefully i won’t be disappointed when i read it! even though i wanted to read this book since the first time i knew about it, right now i don’t feel that urge to read it right away!

4- EVER THE HUNTED

with the release of it’s sequel i was really intrigued to finally pick this book up. besides it’s a retelling of beauty and the beast which i never get tired of!

4- WORDS OF RADIANCE

i read the first book in this series last month and boy how great it was! now of course having the sequel i’m torn between the need to read right away and fear of having my heart broken!

5- JANE AUSTEN COLLECTIVE STORIES

i finally bought a classic in a gorgeous edition! plus, i’ll finally read pride and prejudice!

6- GOLDEN SON

IMG_2282

i really really want to read this book immediately. but i think there will be a lot of action and heartache in this one. so i want to read something not so intense before reading golden son.

7- PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS

IMG_2301

aren’t these spines just beautiful ?!

8- THE LANGUAGE OF THORNS

IMG_2303

this book is even more beautiful in person! the prettiest book i won. i wasn’t planning on buying it because i wasn’t really intrigued to read short stories. even if i liked the other books in the same world i didn’t get excited to read this book. so it was an impulsive purchase but now having it in person i can’t help but feel excited to read it!

9- THE BEAR AND THE NIGHTINGALE

IMG_2302

a lot of people liked this book and thought it was good, cozy, light read which is really what i’m looking for to read when i need a break from intense -fantasy- books.

10- JON SNOW FUNKO POP

i like this edition way more than the other one! look how adorable he is with all the scars and his man bun. ohh his hair is in a bun BTW. don’t worry he’ll be featured in many photos to come. you will see his bun

  1. I got the Cruel Prince and Stalking Jack the Ripper, too. I’ve only read Stalking Jack the Ripper though and I enjoyed it. I plan on getting that B&N edition that features all of Jane Austen’s novels 🙂

  2. Great haul! Don’t worry about having your heart broken in Words of Radiance. There’s still 8 books to go in the series after that one. No spoilers here, but I think Sanderson is saving the heartbreaking for a bit later on. Or perhaps I’m lying…. 😛
    Read it, though! So good.

    1. i still can’t grasp the idea of having 7 more books to be published! i have no idea what brandon might do with them! which makes me appreciate the series even more! my heart did break with kaladin in the first book!!

      1. Kaladin’s awesome in the first book. He’s really good in the second one, too, but Shallan (spelling? I did the audiobooks, which were fantastic) really starts to step up her game in the second one. It was a good thing to see, since she was a bit inactive in the first one.
