i saw this tag on Michelle’s blog @chellesbookramblings  (check out her blog she’s awesome ) and i decided to do it. since i don’t have something in mind to post about today and book tags are my favorite!

1 #NOTALL COVER CHANGES- A COVER CHANGE YOU LIKE

it didn’t change much but the left cover is much more better than the one on the right. i don’t like it when actual humans are on the cover! besides from what i observed the name of this series and the covers make people less excited to read it! so it was better they changed the covers.

 

 

2 #NOTALL ADAPTATIONS- AN ADAPTATION YOU LIKE MORE THAN THE BOOK 

the books are slow paced and have so much details. of course as this series continues the books keep getting better and better.

 

 

3 #NOTALL TROPES – A TROPE YOU WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF SEEING 

i feel like my answer will be a lot of people’s answer too. it’s the hate to love trope! i can never get tired of it! it just makes the romance more interesting?! besides when  couples fall in love after hating each other they kinda have this bond or understanding that’s different.

 

 

4 #NOTALL INSTALOVE- YOU INSTALOVED THIS COUPLE 

i’ll go with michelle’s answer for this one too. which is Emika and Hideo! this book had some tropes that i seen a lot of before but i didn’t quiet disliked!

 

 

5 #NOTALL LOVE TRIANGLES- AN EXAMPLE OF LOVE TRIANGLES DONE WELL 

the one in the infernal devices. cassandra has done a really good job with this series. the love triangle was done so well that had my heart bread endlessly! it wasn’t weird or laughable! it was so pure and heartbreaking!

 

 

6 #NOTALL BOOKISH PARENTS- A BOOKISH PARENTS THAT YOU KNOW, PARENT! 

maura sergent. blue’s mom. she wasn’t absent through out this series. quiet the opposite actually she had a role to the plot and to blue’s action. she’s an independent strong woman that did parent blue and the others through out this series.

 

 

7 #NOTALL VILLAINS- A VILLAIN YOU LOVE 

i thought you might be bored from my ramblings about the darkling SO i added another villain i love besides the darkling! ( it wouldn’t be my post without mentioning the darkling as my favorite villain!!) sebastian morgenstern is another great example of a villain in YA. HE WAS THE BEST in the last books in the series!

 

 

8 #NOTALL CHOSEN ONE- A CHOSEN ONE YOU CAN GET BEHIND 

PERCYYYY! as i’m now reading the series for the first time i come to care about him more and more! i’ll definitely support him with his snarky character and all!

 

 

9 #NOTALL HYPED BOOKS- A BOOK THAT LIVED UP TO THE ACCLAIM 

 

there are so many books that lived up to the hype! but these are the books i recently read that lived up to the hype. reviews:

THE WAY OF KINGS.. A BOOK LIKE NO OTHER!

PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS: THE LIGHTNING THIEF.

RED RISING ..MY NEW FAVORITE SCI-FI SERIES!

10 #NOTALL *INSERT FAORITE GENRE*- A BOOK YOU’RE NOT KEEN ON FROM YOUR FAVORITE GENRE 

my favorite genre is fantasy and the most recent fantasy book i read that i didn’t enjoy that much is graceling. i didn’t like the protagonist that much and there weren’t a lot of things going on. you would expect from a fantasy to be action packed!

 

 

11 #NOTALL *INSERT LEAST FAVORITE GENRE*- A BOOK YOU LIKED FROM A GENRE YOU DON’T OFTEN READ. 

i don’t read contemporary that much! but everything everything was a lighthearted fun read! i finished in one setting! when i finished it i had a warm fuzzy feeling and i was smiling!!
