MY FAVORITE MALE PROTAGONISTS

i’ve been wanting to post this post since forever! in YA there aren’t many male protagonist in fantasy. sure there are those in the main cast of characters but there aren’t  many in which they tell their own story.

in adult fantasy however usually the protagonist in male.

here are my favorite :

1- PERCY JACKSON 

you had to know he was going to be mentioned! this series is narrated by percy which makes even more fun! reading from a 12 year old kid’s POV can be very interesting. specially when that boy has a snarky attitude and troubles follow him everywhere! percy is great. he’s funny, caring, crazy!, he’s my FAVORITE CHILD! ( who said moms don’t choose a favorite!).

 

 

 

2- DARROW 

i mentioned in my review that reading from darrow’s POV was one of the things i loved about red rising. darrow is such a passionate, charismatic male protagonist. even though i’ve only read the first book, i’m still including him as one of my favorite! my baby better have his happy ending!!

 

 

 

3- MAGNUS DAMORA 

this series will follow four main characters and the story is told through them. so i’m counting my love magnus as one of my favorite!. he had such a good character development. even though he acts as a bastard most of the time, he heart is made of gold!.

 

 

4- KALADIN 

my favorite bridge leader!! he’s resourceful, charismatic, passionate where he would rush into danger to save people. he’s definitely a person i would follow. and would want to be in his bridge crew!

 

 

 

– HONORABLE MENTIONS : 

Kvothe from the name of the wind — Elias veturius from an ember in the ashes.
