HII
you guys, i really am in a freaking reading slump!!
it’s the third month and i haven’t read that much at all! i seriously don’t know how my time flies so fast! i mean sure there’s university, but i don’t remember it being that difficult to read last year!
anyway here’s what i read this month :
1- HAPPILY
name: Happily
author: chauncey rogers
genre: YA (MG-friendly) Fantasy/Fairy-Tale Retelling
pages: 299
publishing date: April 3, 2018
i have a full review of this book here: E-ARC REVIEW: HAPPILY. i started reading pride and prejudice, but i couldn’t finish it. i wasn’t feeling good and that book needed some time. so i decided to read something else. this book was good, it was fast paced and fun.
3- PERCY JACKSON : THE BATTLE OF THE LABYRINTH
name: percy jackson and the olympians series
author: rick riordan
genre: middle grade urban fantasy
pages: 361
publishing date: march 6th 2008
publisher: disney hyperion
“where did the time go?!!” what i’ve been thinking lately every time i post my wrap ups! anyways, i really did enjoy this book. as always this series gets better and darker with every book. a lot of things happened here given that it’s the book before the last one, a lot of things should happen, and they did! a lot of things happened between the characters as well as with the plot.
Ahh really relate to the fact that time is whizzing by! Glad you liked Happily 😀 And I still need to read past the first Percy Jackson book

Oh booo! Reading slumps are the absolute worst. I never had one, not a genuine one. Just periods of time where my focus wouldn’t be on reading all that much because life got in the way but that’s different, haha.
Now, however! NOW! Obsidio did my head in. I’ve barely read, don’t feel like reading and am constantly mad-eyeing all my books. :’)
Here’s fingers crossed we both get out of those slumps!
