i usually like mentors in books. they add a lot of depth to the protagonist.
1- KELSIER – MISTBORN
he’s one of my favorites from that trilogy. he had a lot of charisma and lessons to teach vin. i loved how vin became after his tutoring.
2- DIMITRI – THE VAMPIRE ACADEMY
he wasn’t teaching rose the whole series. but at first he was a good teacher. not just with fighting stuff.
3- CHIRON – PERCY JACKSON
dealing with ADHD kids and percy and got to be a lot of work! camp half-blood had some crazy directors\ teachers. so having chiron is a blessing.
4- SYRIO FOREL – A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE
he’s was one of the best in this series. he did have a huge impact on Arya’s character in many ways. the theories regarding him are insane! but i hope we see more of him in the next books!
