REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD READ THE LUNAR CHRONICLES

i feel lot of stress already! i’ve never posted anything like this, giving reasons why this particular series is awesome!

i’m currently re-reading this series to help me get out of my reading slump. and while reading it i’v realized how much i’ve missed this series and how good it was.

so here are my reasons on why you should read it:

1- DIVERSE، STRONG FEMALE CHARACTERS 

we get to know a new character in each book, and let me tell you these ladies can kick ass! the diversity in their shapes, race and everything is great and empowering! yes, you’ll clearly see that strength comes in different forms. it can be physical, intellectual, or emotional. plus, they’re relatable all there fears and anxiety are things we can relate to.

 

 

2- THE MALE CHARACTERS ARE ADORABLE, SWEET CINNAMON ROLLS!! 

the boys have their fair share in this list. just as well there’s diversity among the male characters. they are just the sweetest!! they are supportive, charismatic, and quite flirtatious *winks at thorne*

 

 

3- ACTION PACKED AND FAST PACED 

honestly, i can’t believe that i’m about to finish the last book already! you’ll fly right through these pages. you won’t be able to stop turning them pages!. even though the books get bigger at the end, you’ll finish these the quickest!

 

 

4- WELL CREATED – NOT AT ALL OVERWHELMING – WORLD BUILDING

i don’t venture into sci-fi a lot because most of the time i won’t understand what’s up! even though this series is dystopian sci-fi it’s not at all complex. it has some familiarity to it. it feels like something you already imagined in your mind of what the future may look like.

 

 

5- YOU’LL LAUGH THE LAUGHS AND FEEL THE FEELS!! 

this series has fun- laughing out loud – sarcasm and jokes in it. some of the characters well the keep thing lighthearted and off the edge. while others will make you sympathise with them and keep praying that everything will be fine at the end for them.

 

 

6- IT HAS THE THINGS THAT GOT US LOVE YA! 

this series got me into YA. it has some well known- overly used YA tropes. but not disturbing- rolling my eyes – cliche tropes. (okay you might roll you eyes a little )

you know that YA series that you keep thing about it long after you read it, that got you smile and at the edge of your seat, that has great characters and adorable romances ? well this series is it!
