MID-YEAR BOOK FREAK OUT TAG. 2018

it’s mid-year already and I’m freaking out! I’ve only read about 20 book so far.

I really enjoy reading this tag. it gives you a good insight on how the reader has been doing in  the first half of the year.

1-BEST BOOK I’VE READ SO FAR IN 2018.

I have a full review of this book: THE WAY OF KINGS.. A BOOK LIKE NO OTHER!. I’ve also posted about my favorite top 5 books of 2018 so far: T5W: BEST BOOKS OF 2018 SO FAR

I only mentioned this one because it was truly a great book. and sure there are others I really loved as well, I’ll only mention this book for this question.

 

 

2- BEST SEQUEL YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2018

do I even have to say?!! it was just so good! the fitting sequel for a book as good as the Red Rising.

 

 

3- NEW REALES YOU HAVEN’T READ BUT REALLY WANT TO.

I have so many books on my TBR now that I feel both stressed and grateful! because there are so many books, I won’t fear of running out of books to read anytime soon! hahah *cries while laughing*

 

 

4- MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF 2018 

 

I can’t wait to read these books!! I really enjoyed both strange the dreamer, and warcross. I can’t wait to read their sequels! I’m both scared and excited to know the ending of throne of glass series. I want my babies to be happy!. I have high expectations for dance of thieves after reading the remnant chronicles.

 

 

5- BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT

thankfully, I can’t think of any book right now. I actually don’t think I’ve read a book that I was greatly disappointed in.

 

 

6- BIGGEST SURPRISE 

I didn’t know what to expect so I didn’t have high expectations of it. it turned out to be one of my best reads in 2018!!

 

 

7- FAVORITE NEW AUTHOR 

Pierce Brown

 

 

8- NEWEST FICTIONAL CRUSH 

Kaladin (stormlight archives) and Darrow (red rising). *sigh*

 

 

9- NEWEST FAVORITE CHARACTER 

PERCY JACKSON!! and jasnha. there are so many great characters I got to meet. but for the sake of not making my answer as long, I’ll mention these two for now.

 

 

10- BOOK THAT MADE YOU CRY 

hmmm, I haven’t read that book that made me sob yet *thinks nervously of morning star* .

 

 

11- BOOK THAT MADE YOU HAPPY 

there were some sad moments in Percy jackson and the olympians. but all in all in made me laugh. as well for HP, just being back in that world made me really happy.

 

 

12- FAVORITE BOOK TO MOVIE ADAPTATION YOU SAW THIS YEAR. 

I haven’t seen any so far…

 

 

13- FAVORITE REVIEW YOU’VE WRITTEN THIS YEAR. 

RED RISING ..MY NEW FAVORITE SCI-FI SERIES! this might be it. I’ve actually written some good review of newly favorite books which was great!

 

 

14- THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK YOU’VE BOUGHT SO FAR THIS YAER 

you’ll have to see it in person to realize how beautiful it is…

 

 

15- BOOKS YOU NEED TO READ BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR 

too many books, so little time…
