I’m not a big classic reader! so for this week’s topic i’ll mention books i either read or watched the movie.. etc and wish there is a modern adaptation of the story
1- PETER PAN
the movie was one of my favorites while growing up! I think it’ll be fun to see a more modern version of it. with all that’s been going on in the world today, it’ll be interesting to see peter take Wendy to neverland!
2- PRIDE AND PREJUDICE
I’ve started this novel but didn’t finish it (which I hope I’ll do it soon) and i can say that I’ll be down with seeing a modern adaptation for this one!
4- ARABIAN NIGHTS
I love the stories from this world! and I love reading retelling of this novel! so a more modern one would be intriguing!

i haven’t read Arabian Nights but i think retellings of Peter Pan and Pride & Prejudice would be amaaazing!

I love, love, LOVE, Peter Pan, and I would totally and a 100% be down for a modern retelling. As long as it doesn’t become some cheesy romance story between Wendy and Peter, because I WANT PIRATES. Also, have you heard of Pride by Ibi Zoboi? It’s a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice 🙂 Thanks for a wonderful post! I had fun reading it 🙂

Exactly! Less cheesy romance and more pirates! I’d love to see pirates and peter fight in the modern world.
