HII
I’d say July was a pretty good reading month for me. I read 4 amazing books, though not my preferred goal but I still enjoyed the books and that’s what counts.
1- HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN
name: Harry potter-3
author: J.K Rowling
genre: middle grade fantasy
pages: 435
publishing date: July 8th 1999
this book was so heart achingly beautiful! I loved the new characters and how much we got more about Harry’s parents and their past. it was a really good book, the kind that make you sigh contentedly after you’ve finished it.
2- IRON GOLD
name: red rising 4
author: Pierce Brown
genre: adult sci-fi
pages: 624
publication date: 16 January 2018
I wrote a full review of this book: IRON GOLD. this series keeps emotionally devastating me. as you can sense from the title of the review this series is just keeps getting better and better! the book was awesome. I don’t think I’m emotionally prepared for Dark age.
3- RESTORE ME
name: shatter me 4
author: Tahereh Mafi
genre: YA dystopian
pages: 435
publication date: 6 march 2018
another great read. this series is one of my all time favorites! and it just left me with all the feels!! I can’t stress enough about this series! anyway, I have a full review of this one as well: RESTORE ME … just OHH MY GOD!
4- THIS SAVAGE SONG
name: monsters of verity-1
author: Victoria Schwab
genre: YA fantasy
pages: 469
publication date: 7 June 2016
I’ve been meaning to read this book since forever! I don’t know why I didn’t pick it up before to be honest. but this book was surprisingly good. I mean yes the synopsis is intriguing, but I’ve only read the shades of magic series – her other series- and as the series went by I didn’t like it as many people did. so, I was afraid this might disappoint me as well. thankfully it didn’t. yes, it was a bit hard to be immersed in the story at first, but later on it got better. the story is unique, I liked the characters, and I’d like to know what happens next. I might actually say that I’m now more intrigued to read her other books and may jump into Schwab bandwagon after all.
Yay for harry potter ❤
