another day trying to catch up with life! just tell me one thing what keeps you motivated ?
i saw this tag on thrice reads i’m not sure who is the original creator *sorry*
i usually read one book at a time i like to give it all my attention anyhow this tag is really cool because i can share more of my reading habits instead of talking about books only!
oh you know what i mean! enjoy:
1- HOW MANY BOOKS DO YOU USUALLY READ AT ONCE?
well if you see my goodreads you would see that there are two books i’ve been reading since forever ( i’m currently reading them but i don’t want to DNF them either )
but i usually read one book at a time i like to give it all my attention then start with the second one.
2-IF YOU’RE READING MORE THAN ONE BOOK HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHEN TO SWITCH BOOKS?
like i said i usually don’t but if i’m reading a book and it’s not very enjoyable or i have problems with it then i’ll put it aside for a while and start new one.
3- DO EVER SWITCH BOOKMARKS WHILE YOU’RE PARTWAY THROUGH A BOOK?
YES ALWAYS from tissue to paper to sometimes my phone or my headphones!
4-WHERE DO YOU KEEP THE BOOKS YOU’RE CURRENTLY READING?
either on my nightstand or my desk which is very close to my bed
5-WHAT TIME OF DAY DO YOU SPEND THE MOST TIME READING?
Night time i love reading in the night, who else likes to dream and think about the book before going to bed!
6- HOW LONG DO YOU TYPICALLY READ IN ONE SETTING?
it depends if i’m busy i’ll spend 1-3 hours if not then i can read the whole day!
7-DO YOU HARDBACKS WITH THE DUST JACKET ON OR OFF?
ON OF COURSE! i don’t know i’ve never read it where it’s off it feels weird! i tried but it’s weird!
8-WHAT POSITION DO YOU MAUNLY USE TO READ?
I lay on bed i find it the most comfortable position it was or ever will be!
9-DO YOU TAKE THE BOOK YOU’RE READING WITH YOU EVERYWHERE YOU GO?
hmm it depends sometimes i’ll only take it to college with me and sometimes i feel like it’s too precious it’s not safe to take it out with me!
10-HOW OFTEN DO YOU UPDATE YOUR GOODREADS PROGRESS ON THE BOOK YOU ARE CURRENTLY READING?
not that often to be honest i always forget!!
One's Peculiar 
I use my phone as a bookmark as well! It’s usually because I’m trying to find my bookmark. This is why it’s not worth it for me to purchase actual bookmarks! 😂

i agree with number 1 and 2. i usually ~try~ to read one book at a time, but when things started to become uninteresting, i’ll go pick up another book and switch it 😀

It was cool to read about the books you read and how you read them! 😀 I can relate to only reading a few books at once. Like you, it’s usually if one is very slow and I am not connecting with it that much. I feel guilty if I have to ‘shelve’ it.

thanks! yes i know what you mean about guilt it’s not fun or easy to not enjoy the books you really want to read!
